New crop-cultivation model reaps benefits for farmers

LONG AN –  18 September 2014 marked an important milestone for VBCF  as the Ecofarm's drying factory with a capacity of 28-tonne batches opened in Long An Province’s Duc Hoa District near the corn fields. The factory will expand to 2,500 square metres in the near future.

Tra Vinh – A VND nine - billion investment agreement between Vietnam Business Challenge Fund (VBCF) and Southern Seed Corporation (SSC) was signed today. This inclusive business model is expected to help 2,200 low income households, majority of which are Khmer ethnic minorities, in Tra Vinh province step out of poverty.

The event aimed to further heighten the role of the business sector in sustainable development and to improve the competitiveness of Vietnamese businesses in the process of economic integration.
